Butler Memorial United Methodist Church welcomes all to our 8am and 11am services. Come and receive the word of God in a spiritual and loving atmosphere that provides Christian fellowship and the opportunity to serve the Lord.
Mission statement
Butler Memorial United Methodist Church is a beloved Community of hope and love which proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ providing fellowship for all of God’s people and equipping persons for ministry within the church and the wider community.
To fulfill the Mission
- We welcome all people for fellowship, worship and faith in Christ’s Church.
- We seek to reach out to those who are lost, in pain and who have doubts and questions.
- We listen to them, accept them as they are and share Christ’s Word. Our ultimate goal is to help them find Christ.
- We engage in nurturing all people in the Christian faith, regardless of age, race, and nationality.
- We ask Christ to empower us so that we may nurture, surround and support each other in ministry.
- We strive for the fair and equal treatment of all people, the support our institutions for higher learning, the support of hospitals and shelters for all people, support of world peace, the continuous enhancement of our United Methodist social creed and principles.
- We ask God’s grace as we foster relationships with other religious groups in the mission of Christ’s work.
